10 Day City & Guilds Plumbing Course (2 C&G Units)

This course is suitable for a complete beginner.

YTA is a City & Guilds and CAA approved training centre and is able to offer the following City & Guilds Unit Accreditation in Plumbing.

The City & Guilds units that you will complete are detailed below:

C&G (Entry level 3) - 6218 Unit 004 (Introducing Rain Water Goods)

C&G (Entry level 3) - 6218 Unit 007 (Introducing Pipework Skills)

The 10 day City & Guilds Unit accreditation plumbing course will consist of the following training.

• Copper Pipe Bending 15mm, 22mm
• Copper Pipe jointing 15mm, 22mm
• Wroking 15mm Plastic pipe
• 30mm (32) & 40mm (42) plastic waste pipe.
• Fitting a 3 peice bathroom (fully fitted and working)
• Plumbing in a kitchen sink with washing machine / dishwasher including all waste pipes.
• Repairing a tap and replacing the washer including the maintenance such as reseating the tap.
• Plumbing in a small radiator system
• Central heating systems
• Hot and Cold water systems
• Hot water cylinders
• Connecting to a combi boiler
• Expansion tanks
• Circulating pumps and motorised valves
• Rainwater systems covered and project completion

During this 10 day accredited plumbing course you will receive training, be assessed and will be building a portfolio of photographic evidence, which is yours to keep and present to customers and future employers.

On comletion of the above units you will recieve a City & Guilds Unit Accreditaion detailing the above units that you have completed. The City & Guilds certificate can take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive.
