10 Day City & Guilds Plumbing Level 1 Course (2 C&G Units)

This course is suitable for a complete beginner.
YTA is a City & Guilds and CAA approved training centre and is able to offer the following City & Guilds Unit Accreditation in Plumbing.
The City & Guilds units that you will complete are detailed below:
C&G (level 1) - 6218 Unit 108 (Developing Pipework Skills)
C&G (level 1) - 6218 Unit 109 (Developing skills i fitted interiors)
The 10 day City & Guilds level 1 plumbing course will consist of the following training.
- Copper Pipe Bending 15mm, 22mm
- Copper Pipe jointing 15mm, 22mm
- Working with15mm Plastic pipe
- 30mm (32) & 40mm (42) plastic waste pipe.
- Fitting a 3 peice bathroom (fully fitted and working)
- Plumbing in a kitchen sink with washing machine / dishwasher including all waste pipes.
- Repairing a tap and replacing the washer including the maintenance such as reseating the tap.
- Plumbing in a small radiator system
- Central heating systems
- Hot and Cold water systems
- Hot water cylinders
- Connecting to a combi boiler
- Expansion tanks
- Circulating pumps and motorised valves
- Rainwater systems covered and project completion
During this 10 day level 1 plumbing course you will receive training, be assessed and will be building a portfolio of photographic evidence, which is yours to keep and present to customers and future employers.
On comletion of the above units you will recieve a City & Guilds 6218-02 Level 1 Award in Basic Construction Skills and the award will state you have completed the above units (developing pipework skills & developing skills in fitted interiors)
The City & Guilds certificate can take 3 to 4 weeks to arrive.
