Wood Occupations - Site Carpentry NVQ Level 2 EWPA

Are you an experienced Joiner of 5 or more years? then you can spend 2 days at our CAA & City & Guilds approved NVQ Centre in Yorkshire completing the wood occupations site carpentry NVQ level 2 EWPA (Experienced Worker Practical Assessment).

The NVQ EWPA is a route enabling an experienced worker to achieve their NVQ level 2 in their relevent trade through practical assesment.

By using your skills acquired over the years to complete a task in our NVQ centre (approx 1 to 2 days) which is then assessed  it is possible to achieve the required NVQ level 2 needed to gain access to site work.

The EWPA NVQ assessor will evaluate your skills through professional discussion, witness statements and the practical assessment.

Units that make up the Site Carpentry NVQ Level 2

VR01:      Conform to general workplace safety
VR02:      Conform to efficient work practices
VR03:      Move and handle resources

Supported by THREE optional units to choose from:

VR09:      Install first fixing components
VR10:      Install second fixing components
VR11:      Erect structural carcassing components
VR12:      Maintain non-structural carpentry work
VR13:      Set up and use circular saws
