Wood Occupations - Site Carpentry NVQ Level 2 OSAT (On Site Assessment & Training)

Are you an experienced Joiner of 3 years or more?

We can offer you your NVQ level 2 Wood Occupations Site Carpentry through the OSAT route which is where an NVQ Assessor will come visit you whilst working to build up your NVQ portfolio.

The NVQ assessor will provide training as required to improve knowledge during 5 or 6 visits over a 10 week period where the assessor will take pictures/ videos and gather evidence of you carrying out your everyday tasks as a self employed tradesperson or employed worker.

We have assessors working all around the UK to deliver the OSAT.

Units that make up the Site Carpentry NVQ Level 2

VR01:      Conform to general workplace safety
VR02:      Conform to efficient work practices
VR03:      Move and handle resources

Supported by THREE optional units to choose from:

VR09:      Install first fixing components
VR10:      Install second fixing components
VR11:      Erect structural carcassing components
VR12:      Maintain non-structural carpentry work
VR13:      Set up and use circular saws
