Kitchen Worktop Fitting Course

£300 inc vat - 3 days

This course is aimed at any individual who has tackled the fitting of a kitchen or various kitchens but never finsihed the worktp with the correct fitment or joint.

We will not only cover the scribing and fitting of a standard worktop in the ideal setting (square room) but we will also cover uneven backing walls and + / - 90 degree corners we are sometimes faced with in the 'real' world.

Also covered on the course will be the following:

Worktop preparation
Worktop sizes, colours, manufacturers and trims etc
Worktop setting out
Worktop jig (differnt sizes, makes and uses
Worktop scribing
Cutting with router
Circular saw cutting
Fitting of butterfly joints and wotktop joining and fitting
Cutting out and fitting of kitchen sink and / or hob

We also usually will start to play with your skills as we come to the 3rd day of training and try to give you some confidance to ensure that you leave a confident worktop fitter. We will move on to creating breakfast bars or worktops to fit into a certain area with size limitations so you can giver your customer as many options as possible in their kitchen and hopefully land the job!

This course is limited to just three places per course due to the intense training on the router and worktop jigs. Please book early to aviod dissapointment.
