MOD Resettlement
YTA and Military Resettlement Courses for the MOD, Army, Navy, Air Force.
YTA is an accredited construction training provider and has accreditation to offer qualifications on behalf of the following awarding bodies:
Construction Awards Alliance, City & Guilds and EDI
We can deliver training for resettlement in the following construction areas:
- Tiling
- Plumbing
- Plastering
- Kitchen Fitting
- Joinery and Fitting
- DIY, Home Improvement
- Multi-skill
- Construction NVQ's
Courses eligible for funding due to them being on the NQF & QCF (which is required by the MOD)
The courses that are eligible for MOD funding are the following:
City & Guilds 6218-01 Entry Level 3 Award in Basic Construction Skills
City & Guilds 6218-02 Level 1 Award in Basic Construction Skills
City & Guilds 6218-03 Level 1 Certificate in Basic Construction Skills
City & Guilds 6218-04 Level 1 Diploma in Basic Construction Skills
The above City and Guilds courses start from 2 weeks upto 12 weeks training.
A typical example is below:
If you would like to complete a City & Guilds tiling level 1 5 day course and a City & Guilds plumbing level 1 5 day course but as these are just C&G unit accreditations and not a full title qualification the MOD will not pay for these so if you request training for one of the above 6218-01 / 6218-02 / 6218-03 / 6218-04 qualifications then you will find that MOD funding will be made available.
The reason being that you need to complete 8 QCF credits to recieve the 6218-02 and any two level 1 C&G units that we offer will total 4 credits each so you still end up doing a plumbing and tiling course but will also recieve funding and a full title qualification.
