NEET Training

YTA is pleased to announce that not only are we an approved off site provider for schools but also we are now a part of the foundation learning group headed up by ASPIRE i. This means we have an exciting new "FREE" programme of construction training coupled with functional skills.

A cast iron opportunity to improve your literacy, numeracy and ICT as well as enjoy yourself with getting mucky in a trades environment AND you get paid £30.00 per week for expenses. The training is just 2 (long) days per week for 26 to 30 weeks.

It is available to 16-18 year olds, who are Not in Education Employment or Training (NEET). It is open for students who live in Bradford / Leeds / Halifax / Huddersfield areas. If in doubt give us a call and we will check it out for you. 

APPLY through your local connexions office or ASPIRE I office (Bradford). Call in to our reception for a chat and a look around, call our admin team on the freephone number and speak to the girls, leave your details and start the ball rolling. You could be training for your future in as little as 2 weeks.

Qualification of offer:- City & Guilds 6218-03  Certificate in basic construction skills.

OCR functional skills.        

We can offer tiling, plastering, plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating. Working skills. Literacy and numeracy is embedded in a relevant manner throughout all the courses and can also be offered as class room tuition in our functional skills programme. (Schools please call for details).
