It has always been our goal at YTA to train up to a standard that our students can set up in self employment with confidence .
If you are looking at starting a business from one of our courses, we are here to help and advise you every step of the way.
Our courses are designed for intense training in purpose built bays such as kitchens and bathrooms so you get a real feel for working in real life situations - as near as possible. We cover marketing, measuring and quoting and can re-cover any area until you are confident on going out and finding and getting work!
NVQ's - We can offer experienced tradespersons their NVQ Level 2 in their specific trade.
CSCS Card - More and more construction sites are now only open to contractors who hold a CSCS card. You can gain your CSCS card by passing a health & safety test and through assessment of your occupational competance (NVQ EWPA) both available at YTA.
You may already have heard "No CSCS Card No Work" So don´t get left behind book it today.
City & Guilds - Gain City & Guilds qualifications on our courses to gain employment.
Level 1 and Level 2 Awards - Most of our courses are National Awards and must meet certain criteria to achieve the award - we always cover extra content than we need to .Remember we measure our success by those who enter into the industry.
HMRC -Every week a HM revenue and Customs Business Advisor comes and talks about what you need to know when starting a business, handy tips and helpful advice. You can then be invited to one of their free half day sessions which are a great way to find money saving tips.
Get a PRO Website - Why not show your potential customers your workmanship through a website. It can be a great marketing tool for your business. Please see the link on the left (website deal) for more information.
