10 Day Plastering Course

This is our foundation plastering course plus an additional 5 days advanced plastering providing a wealth of background information.
Plastering Course contains:-
- Health and safety
- Business start up
- What plaster goes where
- Skimming to plasterboard
- Setting of finishing beads
- Skimming to existing plaster
- Repair plastering
- Bonding and skimming
- Setting bonding beads
- Plastering to ceilings
- Repairing ceilings
- Dry lining direct bond to straights and windows
- Arch and curve forming
- What plasterboard for what area
- Coving to straights and returns
- Fixing render beads to pillars,windows,including bell cast beads.
- Rendering with sand /cement and ready mix powders
- Coping with large areas
All hands on. Information hand outs will be supplied prior to taking on a section.
You will go home with a clear practical and theoretical understanding of plastering in itself and as a trade. From this course you may decide to go on to further training or set up for the domestic market. You may even use it as part of your work as well as plumbing, tiling or kithcen fitting. All equipment is provided for the course, you will need steel toe capped boots and throw away clothes (after the course, not during) as you will mostly likely get messy.

You can attend the advanced plastering course in a five day section, but you must have at least some plastering experience. Price for 5 days is £250.00 inc vat
