As the name of the course indicates, our Level 1 Certificate in Bricklaying course gives you a full qualification on completion, subject to you passing five Cskills assessments.
This programme effectively combines a five-day intensive bricklaying course with a subsequent five-day advanced bricklaying course. The latter incorporates NOCN Cskills Level 1 assessments across five units covering health and safety in construction trades, effective communication in construction trades, building a brick wall, building a block wall and building a cavity wall.
Cskills Awards, by the way, is the current awarding body for construction NVQs, and is now part of NOCN Group, having previously been owned by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Both Cskills Awards and NOCN are among the most instantly recognisable brands in the UK construction sector, so you won’t have to worry about the reputability of your qualification.
