20th March 2019 By Liz Spider

You’ll cover a lot of ground when you enrol on our 10-day Level 1 carpentry and joinery course

How much do you reckon you could learn within the space of 10 days? Certainly, few of us could hope to be motivated enough or even sufficiently well-equipped to acquire all of the skills necessary to set ourselves on our way to a fruitful carpentry and joinery career in that small amount of time.

This is precisely what is possible, however, for those who take on our highly regarded 10-day Level 1 carpentry and joinery course.

Nor is it merely a whole new level of capability that this course enables you to acquire, as you will also be able to obtain a full qualification at the conclusion of your time with us. From potentially no prior experience in carpentry and joinery at all, right through to being able to embark on an exciting new career, it’s quite the transformation that you could undergo with our help!

So, what is contained within the course?

Our five-day practical carpentry and joinery course is non-accredited and includes a YTA completion certificate. The ten-day Level 1 carpentry and joinery route offers the stated NOCN Cskills unit accreditation, rather than a full Level 1 qualification.

Successful completion of the stated assessments leads to unit accreditation. The current ten-day carpentry route is not a full Level 1 Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery.

A wide range of stages and tasks is packed into the 10 days, beginning with how to use the basic hand tools associated with the trade, right through to the construction of a stud partition wall with a doorway, the hanging of a door including the fitting of its locks, the fitting of skirting and mouldings with external and internal corners, and so much more.

Enquire now to commence an enthralling new journey

Whether you are most interested in our 10-day Level 1 carpentry and joinery course or any of our various other learning programmes for the construction trades, you could scarcely hope to choose a more renowned training centre anywhere in the UK than YTA.

So, why not use our online chat feature or contact us via phone or email to find out more about how we could assist you in achieving your ambitions in the construction sector in 2019?
