Introduction To Electrics 4 Day Course = £550 including vat
This is our introduction to electrics 4 day course which will provide you with a solid introduction to electrics around your home. The course is aimed at those wanting to understand more about the electrics in their own homes or as an introduction to electrics before enrolling on our Domestic Electrical Installer (DEI) 15 day electrical course.
The course is very practically based so you will physically install ring mains and radials including the installation of a consumer unit. Installation of sockets and replacing socket fronts plus fitting a light and an extractor fan.
This course does not make you an electrician, it is intended to give you a good grounding of electrical knowledge both practically and theoretically.
The 4 day electrical course will have some classroom work, approximately 30% of the course will cover the electrical regulations, installations and refer to the 18th Edition books. You do not need to have any previous knowledge or experience of electrics or any other trade to attend this course. We start at the basics, the course is a very good introduction to understanding electrics in your own home.
You will also us the latest Kewtech KT63 Multifunction tester on your own installations. The course is run with low student to teacher ratios and you will be working in our large electrical training bays.
We do run a Domestic Electrical Installer course with accredited qualification which is 15 day course if you are looking at are more in depth electrical course. The Domestic Electrical Installer (DEI) is an ideal starting point if you want to become a domestic electrical installer, are working in a related trade such as a plumber or kitchen fitter.
