I did the 2 day skimming course. By the first day had skimmed a wall and ceiling. Dave the instructor was very easy to work with teaching me the right techniques to skim. Highly recommend

I have just recently done the 2 day kitchen worktop course and I must say the guy Laurence who was my tutor was excellent he was looking after me and several joiners all at once . But I came with with what I needed and would highly recommend .

Course Descriptions:

The 2 day Plastering Course is £180 including vat and available most weeks on any 2 consecutive days. It will be 2 days of solid graft with 100% focus on achieving a smooth finish plastered wall. There’ll be no business start up or peripherals just all day mixing and plastering.

The aim of the 2 day worktop course will be to fit a worktop professionally. The course is £250 and you will use a router and worktop jig to create the worktop ‘masons mitre’ fitment into a corner area. You will also cut out for a kitchen sink and fit the kitchen sink.

  • You will use tools such as:
  • Router
  • Worktop Jig
  • Circular saw
  • Jigsaw
  • Square
  • Clamps
  • And other joiners tools to create a professional finish.

You will use professional kitchen fitting tools form jig saws, circular saws and routers. You will be shown every aspect of setting up each tool along with handy tips along the way on how to use the tools for different materials.

YTA Worktop fitting course review

A new 5 star review has been left on google reviews following the completion of the YTA worktop fitting course.

Worktop fitting training was just what I was looking for to refine my skills.

Great YTA Kitchen Fitting Course Review

On the 5 day intensive kitchen fitting course you will learn how to design a kitchen to the room provided and what types of cupboards and units are available to suit a variety of designs to suit a customers specification. Base units will need to be levelled on a and planned to a design along with hanging the wall units and fitting the extractor hood. You will use professional kitchen fitting tools form jig saws, circular saws and routers. You will be shown every aspect of setting up each tool along with handy tips along the way on how to use the tools for different materials.

I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of my 10 day plumbing course the guys at YTA are excellent tutors and very knowledgeable Lyndon took the time to explain all aspects of the tasks and would give helpful feedback throughout the course other tutors at YTA would come over and look at my work and give positive feedback which was nice to hear. before last week I had not done any plumbing work and now I have so much more confidence. thank you everyone at YTA. I would strongly suggest to anyone who is looking to do a course contact the guys at YTA the 10 days plumbing is much better than the 5 days. I learnt so much during the 2nd week than the first week. I can heartily recommend any of the courses delivered by YTA as the trainers and content is spot on and the delivery is tailored to meet you as an individual. You benefit from years and years of experience (good and bad). If you are considering the 5 or 10 day options in a subject, I would strongly suggest 10 days to give yourself a good grounding and soak up more knowledge.
